Coaching for Your Next Phase

Clarity, support, and powerful questions for people ready to reconnect to their direction.

I’m Sloane Miller — an ICF-certified and credentialed coach, a licensed mental health professional, a published author and writer, and workshop facilitator with two decades of experience supporting people through the often messy and ultimately meaningful middle of career and life transitions.

I work with accomplished professionals who feel stretched thin, blocked, burned out, or unsure of their next direction.

Our work together will give you space to think, feel, reflect, and reconnect with the wisdom you already have. Together, we slow things down, explore what’s shifting, and uncover the clarity waiting beneath the noise.

My coaching practice is grounded in motivational interviewing, the Socratic method, evidence-based techniques, behavioral science, and a culturally responsive, anti-bias approach. You’ll get deep listening, powerful questions, and steady thought partnership so you can move forward with intention, confidence, and a renewed sense of self.

The Approach

At Sloane Miller Coaching, the work we do together is collaborative, reflective, and deeply client-led. My role is to help you uncover your own answers to your questions. Using evidence-based coaching methods, motivational interviewing, and a Socratic style of inquiry, I create a space where your thinking can stretch, clarify, and sharpen.

You’ll have a thought partner who listens deeply, asks the right questions, and helps you connect insights to meaningful action. This is a warm, nonjudgmental environment designed to help you hear yourself more clearly, access your own wisdom, and move forward with confidence that comes from within.

Typical Clients

I work with people who are accomplished, thoughtful, and used to carrying a lot — mentally, emotionally, professionally. Many are in a transition, a reinvention, or an in-between season where the old ways of operating just aren’t working anymore.

They don’t need someone to fix them or tell them what to do. They need space, partnership, and powerful questions that help them reconnect to their clarity, agency, and sense of direction.

If you’re ready to think differently about your future and want a partner who challenges and supports you as you do, you’ll feel right at home here.

How I Can Support You

Executive Coaching

For leaders navigating complexity, growth, or uncertainty. Together, we explore your thinking, assumptions, and strengths so you can lead with clarity and integrity. This is a space to reflect strategically, challenge limiting beliefs, and uncover insights that expand your leadership capacity.

Professional Coaching

Whether you’re seeking development, perspective, or a shift in how you show up at work, our sessions give you room to examine patterns, experiment with new thinking, and find solutions that feel authentically yours. Individuals and groups benefit from thought partnership that sparks growth without pressure or judgment.

Personal Coaching

When something feels unclear, off-track, or in transition, we slow down and explore with curiosity. You bring the goals, questions, and possibilities; I bring the structure, reflection, and inquiry that help you hear your inner voice more clearly. Together, we uncover what you want next — and the mindset that will support it.

  • “We really enjoyed the academic writing workshop. The best quote I heard from my colleagues was: ‘It was the most fun I’ve had at work in a long time.’ Not only did it spark creativity but it brought smiles and laughter for a group that desperately needed it. We continue to bring up dragons and clouds at every meeting we’ve had since.”

    — Gopi J Astik, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital

  • “Sloane did an ‘Improv Your Networking’ workshop for us at WICT NY and everybody is still buzzing about it! Our group is made up of hundreds of members, but many members have a hard time coming to events because they don’t know other people and are nervous to take that first leap. Improv was a new idea for us, and extremely effective. Within the first prompt, everybody was talking to somebody new and thinking in a different way. On their way out, I had people asking me when the next event was so they could reconnect with the people they met, and some even planning to meet for drinks in the coming weeks. I think it’s safe to say that our members will now say “yes, and” to our next events, and will be able to navigate them with confidence!”

    — Steph Czajkowski, Women in Cable Telecommunications NY, Membership & Special Events Co-Chair

  • “Sloane is a powerhouse of fun and creativity and brilliant coaching. There are few leaders who know how to hold the fascination of a group, help them discover things about themselves deeply, and have fun doing it. What I love about Sloane is that she is so dang smart: she challenges her groups to grow and does it in such a kind and enthusiastic and supportive way. Her improv workshops are magic. You will be changed.”

    — Katie Goodman, Director of the Improvisation For Life Certification Program
